Golden Harbor Buffet

This is the Golden Corral of Chinese food! They have everything! Seriously, EVERYTHING! Make sure to walk through completely and see it all before you start getting food because there will always be something else you want that you didn't see if you dont. Seafood, (BIG! crab legs,in ample supply) and the typical Chinese fare, (Mongolian beef, general Tso's, all the good chicken dishes) but also STEAK! Strips of serve yourself New York steak. It's not Texas roadhouse, don't get me wrong, but it is still good steak, and you can have all you want. The desserts? Just wow... forget about soft serve, they have REAL ice cream! Just grab a bowl out of the freezer, and don't forget to put some chocolate out of the chocolate fountain with a spoon. They have marshmallows to dip in the chocolate fountain, but I dipped fresh sliced pineapple and strawberries from the salad bar, and I also made chocolate dipped jalapeños 🙂 I mixed a lot of dishes together for a cullinary masterpiece, some jalapeños from the jalapeño chicken, some mushrooms from the mushroom chicken, with the orange chicken, over steamed broccoli from the broccoli beef, with grilled onions from the Mongolian beef, over rice, lo mein noodles, and string beans... Then Sriracha and soy sauce over the top. It was so good! Anyone who can't create their own fantastic frankenmeal that is amazing and suits just them just lacks imagination. The kids love the cotton candy machine and the chocolate fountain. It was $27.50 plus $1.50 for the drink, which is expensive on my budget (plus im just cheap), but it was so good it was well worth it, and if I could I would eat there all the time and never get bored of the food. Go there hungry with a lot of time to be able to try everything, this is a buffet to make a day of, you will really be satisfied. I took TONS of pictures, because they have TONS of food choices. These are not even pictures of everything, there is a lot more. You will see when you go. The service was great, even though they didn't have enough workers to service the huge crowd. She was really running keeping drinks filled, some might complain about that, but perhaps only those who dont know how hard that job can be. I look forward to my next trip to Fresno so I can go here again, it's more expensive than the Sizzler Salad Bar, (Also amazing) but I will split my time between them both now 🙂 Enjoy! 🙂

(Update 08/06/2023, same great food and quality still great!) Looked very nice as we walked in, waiting room almost shoulder to shoulder and we waited about 20 min to be seated even though tables were available in the dining area. I asked the hostess if we sit ourselves and she said we would be seated. We were finally seated and served our drinks but never once did our server asked if we wanted a refill. There is a lot of selections to choose from but the food could use a bit more flavor. There was food under our table that I stepped on and the counters around the buffet area could have been wiped down and swept up around the area, it's a very nice restaurant and it's sad that it's not kept up. The hostess did mention they were understaffed so I'm giving the benefit of doubt and have enough faith to go back and try the restaurant again. We tried a little bit of everything and the food was satisfactory. Price was roughly $26 per person for dinner

My husband and I were recommended here and it was a nightmare! First off my husband googled the restaurant and the prices are completely different online it says it is 16.99 for dinner per person which should be a total of 34 dollars or so we payed 63 dollars. We went to go get our first plate and my husband got the roast duck and it was completely cold and tasted like chicken and he was very disappointed. I went to go grab some oysters and a chef from the back came out and she grabbed something from the tray with her BARE HANDS no gloves no nothing and then REFILLING MY DRINK. A lot of the food was disappointing but there were some good dishes. The clean up crew for the buffet plates walk around with the caddies touching peoples food and discarded plates with their bare hands and don’t sanitize after a clean up or wash in between. A worker had run into me carrying a full plate of food because she was on her phone and just continued on her way. There were strands of hair in certain dishes. Overall a bad experience . And when I had went to ask for the manager she was rude and started disrespecting me and she said “we refilled your drinks 3 times and you tried a little bit of everything so there is nothing we can do you ate our food” and I had explained that the people with the food trays cleaning the tables refilled my drink and how it would probably make people more comfortable and she said “yeah and what’s your point it’s not the law for us to wear gloves” and started yelling. It was terrible 10/10 do not recommend

My honest opinion is this place is just okay. They do have a large selection of food but most of the food was cold. The service was good the ladies that worked there were nice, but I was very disappointed I thought the food would be better. It was lunch time so I paid 66 dollars for 3 adults and 3 drinks. I did go on a Wednesday maybe that's why the food was cold it wasn't really busy so I'm guessing that's why the food was out but strangely we went in right when they opened so you would think all the food would be piping hot but it wasn't even under the heat lamps. It is hard to find a decent buffet nowadays I will say lins fusion is slightly better. I would've gone there but I wanted to try something new. Overall I'd give this place a 4 out of 10.

Wonderful food, lots of options other buffets don't offer! (Sushi, teppanyaki, tons of dessert options like crepes, cotton candy, etc). Terrible service though. They don't even refill sodas or drinks unless you ask and If you ask for a refill they give you a terrible attitude. They don't clean up dirty plates until you leave so your table isn't even fully cleaned off while eating. (Very frustrating when multiple people in a party are having 2nds!) Very clean restaurant and wonderful atmosphere though. Prices have gone up a lot though.

The place is what you expect from your typical buffet. the aesthetic is so good and was very engaging. the food is a bit so-so as some of em is not as fresh as freshly served ones. but there's many to choose from so it's all good!. service is fairly decent. u might need to ask them directly about water refills especially when there's a lot of customers. overall ★4/5 for me. will go again.

Seriously impressed the the variety of foods, everything tested fresh, plenty of food in trays, staff was extremely helpful and with a smile, a little high priced, but I am from out of state and I understand California prices are higher. My only issue in that it can be really packed, and tables are right next to each other, this time it was almost empty. Will definitively return.
